QueryFlag

Save a query once, with a token where the value goes. Then select a value in the editor, right-click it, and run the query against your database. QueryFlag is a paid plugin with a 30-day free trial and requires the Database Tools and SQL plugin.

• Install and activate: Check the requirements, install the plugin, and start the trial.
• Create query templates: Save a query with a token for the selected text.

Use QueryFlag

• Run a query on selected text: Select a value in the editor and run a template from the context menu.
• Create a template from a query console: Turn a query from a query console into a template with Add Query Flag.
• Where templates are available: Templates are IDE-wide; the menu shows those whose data source is in the project.
• Write the template query: Quote the token where the query needs a string value.
• Settings: Manage templates and the console and blank-text options.
