QueryFlag: Install and activate

Install QueryFlag from JetBrains Marketplace, then start the free trial or activate a license.

Before you begin

  • The current version requires JetBrains IDEs 2026.3 (build 263) or later. For IDE version 2026.2, JetBrains Marketplace offers QueryFlag 2026.2.1.

  • QueryFlag depends on the Database Tools and SQL plugin. Use an IDE that includes it, for example IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate, DataGrip, PyCharm, GoLand, or PhpStorm, and make sure the plugin is enabled.

  • To run queries, add at least one data source in the Database tool window (in DataGrip, Database Explorer). QueryFlag uses your existing data sources and does not store connection credentials.

Install the plugin

Install QueryFlag from JetBrains Marketplace

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+S (macOS: ⌘ ,) to open the Settings dialog, and select Plugins.

  2. Open the Marketplace tab.

  3. Type QueryFlag in the search field.

  4. Click Install next to QueryFlag.

  5. If the IDE asks for a restart, click Restart IDE.

JetBrains Marketplace installs the QueryFlag build that matches your IDE version.

Start the trial or activate a license

QueryFlag is a paid plugin with a 30-day free trial. If you have not started the trial or activated a license yet, the IDE opens the Manage Subscriptions dialog when it starts. Start the trial or activate a license there. If you close the dialog without doing either, the IDE disables QueryFlag. The IDE also disables QueryFlag when the trial or the license expires.

Start the trial or activate a license

  1. Select Help | Register.

  2. Select QueryFlag in the list of plugins, and start the trial or activate your license.

Buy or manage licenses on the QueryFlag pricing page. The license terms are on the DORKAG terms and conditions page.

Update the plugin

Update QueryFlag

  1. Open the Settings dialog and select Plugins.

  2. Open the Installed tab, find QueryFlag, and click Update if an update is available.
