# JirAI: Work with AI assistants

> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://edgafner.github.io/llms.txt).

Besides the everyday Jira work, JirAI helps when an AI coding assistant works on your Jira issues. The assistant can check a draft issue against your project before filing it, show its plan on a board in the IDE and turn its specs and plans into Jira issues. It changes Jira only when you approve the change.

Agent skills
: Add JirAI's skills to Claude Code, Codex, Copilot CLI and Junie, so the agent uses the virtual board and checks a Jira ticket before filing it without being told how. See [JirAI: Agent skills](jirai-agent-skills.html).

Agent tools
: Let the assistant read a project's real create screen and check a draft issue against it and your house standard before it files anything. See [JirAI: AI agent tools and house standard](jirai-agent-tools.html).

Push Markdown docs
: Turn a Markdown spec or plan into a Jira issue and keep the issue description up to date. See [JirAI: Push Markdown docs to Jira](jirai-ai-workflows.html).

Virtual board
: Watch the agent's plan as live cards in an IDE editor tab, send it notes and approve the Jira changes it asks for. See [JirAI: Virtual board](jirai-virtual-board.html).
