GBrowser Settings and Configuration
Withing the GBrowser settings, you can configure the behavior of the GBrowser tool window. This topic describes the available settings and how to configure them.
GBrowser Settings
Open the IDE settings and navigate to
.The GBrowse settings are divided into the following sections:
Default Home Page
The Default Home Page section allows you to configure the default home page that opens when you start the GBrowser tool window.
Search Settings
The Search Settings section allows you to configure the search settings appearance and the browser history behavior.
Search Settings options:
- Highlight URL host
Highlight the URL host in the address bar.
- Enable suggestion search
When enabled, the GBrowser tool window suggests search queries based on Google search engine.
- Hide URL protocol
Hide the URL protocol in the address bar.
- Load favicon in popup
Load the favicon in the popup search.
- Highlight a suggestion query
Highlight the suggestion query in the search results.
- Life Span in new tab
Set the life span to be a new tab instead of standalone JFrame.
Browser History options:
- Enable browser history
When enabled, the GBrowser tool window saves under the IDE configuration folder your browser history.
- Amount of History
Set the amount of history to be saved in the browser history.
Developer Options
When you enable the Developer Options, you can debug the Web Page directly from the GBrowser tool window. Enable and set the port number for debugging.
Toolwindow Settings
The Toolwindow Settings section allows you to configure the appearance and the UI of the GBrowser tool window.
The following options are available:
- Hide tool window label
Show or hide the tool window label in the GBrowser tool window.
- Show tab icon
Show or hide the tab icon in the GBrowser tool window.
- Show bookmarks toolbar
Show or hide the bookmarks' toolbar in the GBrowser tool window.
- Enable drag and drop tabs
When enabled, you can drag and drop tabs in the GBrowser tool window.
- Reload previous tabs
When enabled, the GBrowser tool window reloads the previous tabs when you start the GBrowser tool window. Up to 20 tabs are saved.
Bookmarks Management
The Bookmarks' Management section allows you to manage the bookmarks in the GBrowser tool window.
Http Response Headers
The Http Response Headers section allows you to view the HTTP response headers in the GBrowser tool window.
